Cutting using discs mounted on ramped cutters
The cutting with diamond discs mounted on ramping cutters is a demolition and material processing technique that allows precise and controlled cuts to be made on surfaces such as concrete, stone, brick and rock.
During operation, the rotating discs mounted on the cutter arm penetrate the material at high speed, generating clean, neat and regular cuts. Interventi Speciali Edili employs diamond blades of different types according to specific project requirements. Climbing cutters can also be oriented and manoeuvred with extreme precision, allowing cuts at varying depths and angles.
This technique makes it possible to operate without generating vibrations or stresses that are harmful to the surrounding structures, thus ensuring a clean, safe and minimal impact on the working environment.
Main applications
Opening gaps in walls, floors and flooring
Construction of expansion joints
Cutting concrete foundations and plinths
Controlled demolition with reduced vibration
Working in sensitive and inhabited environments
Automatic feed floor saw
La floor cutting machine with automatic feed has some significant advantages over ramping cutters, in particular it does not require the positioning of rails to carry out the job. This aspect allows for greater flexibility and mobility on the construction site, enabling the execution of consistent, precise and deep cuts on different surfaces without the need for prior preparation.
Thanks to this feature, the floor cutting machine can easily adapt to various working scenarios, making it ideal for cutting bituminous solid packages, for the cutting concrete slabs, for road maintenance work and for more complex applications.
Main applications
Cutting concrete and bitumen pavements
Floor removal in residential and commercial premises
Road maintenance and repair
Cutting of slabs
Interventions in confined spaces
Diamond wire cutting
From the well-established marble cutting technique in the quarry, the diamond wire cutting system, a particularly effective methodology when dealing with projects that require the cutting of massive structures such as rock masses, buildings, viaducts or foundations, where power and the ability to handle large amounts of material are crucial.
This system makes use of a thin, flexible wire made of steel and coated with diamond beads, which rotates at high speed thanks to a system of pulleys and motors that impart the rotation, allowing any material to be cut in the desired position. Thanks to the hardness of the diamonds, the wire is able to easily penetrate even the toughest surfaces without generating vibration, dust or damaging surrounding structures. The diamond wire can adapt to complex geometries, allowing cuts of any shape, size and cross-section.
Whether it is curves, acute angles or non-standard surfaces, diamond wire cutting can meet any challenge with ease.
Main applications
Interventions on bridges and infrastructure
Cutting boulders and stone blocks
Cutting concrete floors and slabs
Making openings in walls and ceilings
Work on historical and monumental surfaces
Core drilling
Core drilling is an advanced drilling technique used to extracting cylinders of material from solid surfaces such as concrete, stone and asphalt. This methodology is particularly popular in the construction, civil engineering and geology sectors.
The use of diamond drills (steel pipes with diamond sectors at the end) and of electric or electro-hydraulic core drills, They allow perfectly cylindrical holes of any diameter and in any type of masonry, whether perpendicular or inclined.
To ensure maximum efficiency and cleanliness during drilling, water is used to cool the tools. This not only prevents the tools from overheating, but also prevents the formation of dust, ensuring precise and clean holes.
