Robotic and manual hydrodemolition

Concrete demolition and material removal using high-pressure water

Hydroscarification and manual hydrodemolition

Manual hydrodemolition is a demolition technique using high-pressure motor pumps (2500/3000 bar) with water flow rates ranging from 20 to 30 litres per minute. It requires the direct intervention of qualified operators, who manoeuvre specific equipment to control the water jet and direct the demolition action according to the needs of the project, allowing a selective and targeted removal of materialsthis is particularly useful in contexts where surrounding structures must be preserved or for demolition in confined spaces where robotic machinery cannot be used.

Manual hydro-scarification is a highly effective and versatile demolition technique which removes damaged and inconsistent parts, leaving rough, well-cleaned surfaces, characteristics necessary for the proper adhesion of new repair mortars and subsequent work.

Robotised hydrodemolition

Robotic hydrodemolition is an advanced technology for the’selective concrete removal for medium and large-scale works. This method allows for the precise removal of degraded portions, preserving existing reinforcement and adjacent structures, and accurately defining the depth of cut, with considerable advantages over traditional techniques.

To perform these tasks, we use high-pressure units with water flow rates between 180 and 200 litres per minute, and operating pressures from 1100 to 1500 bar, operated by robotic systems self-propelled and fully automated.

Robotic systems allow dynamic adjustments of the working parameters, adapting to varying geometries and ensuring consistency of performance. This makes it possible to operate in different logistical situations, improving operational efficiency and optimising intervention times.
