Construction of access compartments on prefabricated panels

The client needed extending an industrial machine, operation, which made it necessary to remove a portion of the prefabricated structure to obtain the required space.

In a first phase it was defined the area to be removed and the prefabricated panels to be sectioned were identified. Next, holes were drilled in the corners to avoid overcutting, followed by holes for the slinging points, which were essential to ensure the safe lifting of the portions of the structure.

The individual portions were then removed piece by piece, with the blocks sectioned according to the maximum load that can be lifted by the telescopic lifting machine.

The materials removed were loaded onto lorries and disposed of properly in landfills, ensuring maximum operational safety and responsible waste management.
